Same Name, New Look: Bolstorff Field to receive new artificial turf in Summer 2026

Today marks the beginning of a big project happening on Bolstorff Field in the summer of 2026. While students are away for the break, Waldorf University and Forest City Schools with the help of ISG, Inc. and Midwest FieldTurf are installing a new artificial turf field. With a projected finish date of August 1, our athletes will be practicing and competing on a brand-new turf field, starting in the fall of 2026.

McKown Competes at 45th Annual NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Championship

Eliza McKown travels to the NAIA National Championship next week to compete in the 800m. After finishing as an All-American in the 800m during this year's indoor season, McKown qualified for the race again in the Kip Janvrin Open on April 24.

Kamalski, Berg, Herrin, Rindone, and Smith receive GPAC All-Conference Honors

On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) released the 2026 All-Conference Baseball teams. Jack Kamalski was named to First Team All-Conference. Brandon Berg, Andrew Herrin, Cameren Rindone, and Mason Smith received Honorable Mention recognition.

Three Warriors are All-Conference finishers at GPAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Waldorf Track & Field competed in the GPAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Midland University on May 1-2. Between the men's and women's teams, Waldorf returned home with three All-Conference athletes: Eliza McKown (800m and 1500m), Madison Mulhall (100m hurdles and heptathlon), and Donte Brown (high jump).

Five Warriors Compete in ACUI & SCTP Nationals

Five Warriors on the Shooting Sports team competed in the ACUI & SCTP Collegiate Clay Target Championships in March. It includes six shooting events over six days with 100 targets for each event: American skeet, American doubles trap, American trap, American doubles trap, sporting clays, and super sporting competition shooting.

Waldorf Athletics held the annual All Sports Program on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, combining efforts with Waldorf Student Life and Students Excelling in Activities & Leadership (S.E.A.L.) to honor the outstanding efforts of Waldorf University's students. Anna Longhenry, Fisher Nagel, AJ Toulouse, Eliza McKown, and Christian Gerot were honored for their contributions this season and throughout their time at Waldorf.

NAIA Announces the 2026 Spring Sport Scholar-Athletes

On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, the NAIA announced the 2026 NAIA Scholar-Athletes for spring sports. To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificated for their sport, and have attended the institution for at least one full year.
