Retired Air Force Colonel and Waldorf alum Tim Tarris 1970 is scheduled to speak at the Waldorf University Odvin Hagen Recital Hall at 7 p.m. in Forest City on Thursday, Sept. 24 about his recent flight journey this past summer.

Waldorf University and the Forest City community celebrated the completion and dedication of the new turf at Bolstorff Field during Community Night on Saturday, September 12.

The Waldorf University Volleyball team continues to strive for academic excellence, earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the seventh consecutive year. This honor is given to collegiate and high school teams who maintain a year-long grade point average of at least 3.3 on at 4.0 scale.

Waldorf University's Director of Cross Country and Track & Field, Janna (Langrell) Gorwin, has been named the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Coach of Character nominee for 2025-26.

Waldorf University is pleased to announce the hiring of Cliff Cook as Head D1 Hockey Coach. Cook has over 30 years of coaching experience between the high school, juniors, and collegiate levels. Most recently, he was the Associate Head Coach for the ACHA D1 men's hockey program at Drury University. In their first D1 season, the team qualified for the quarterfinals of the ACHA Tournament. He also served as Drury's Sports Information Director for non-NCAA sports for two years. Before that, he coached the Missouri State University ACHA D1 men's team as the Associate Head Coach.

The Waldorf University Women's Soccer program is preparing for their upcoming season with Head Coach Emmanuel Awotula and Assistant Coach Iveth Guzman (2^nd season). Their 18-game schedule includes seven non-conference matchups and eleven Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) games.

Waldorf University Head Men's Soccer Coach Joseph Tibbs has announced the Warriors' 2026 schedule, an 18-match slate that features eight home contests and a challenging mix of non-conference opponents and GPAC play.
