FOREST CITY, Iowa – The Waldorf University men's soccer team earned national recognition Wednesday, receiving votes in the Sept. 16 NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

The recognition comes during a strong start to the 2026 campaign, as the Warriors enter GPAC play with a 5-3-0 overall record following their non-conference schedule.

With a young roster featuring several newcomers in significant roles, Waldorf has continued to develop as a group while preparing for the challenges of conference play.

"We're truly appreciative to receive votes in the NAIA Coaches' Poll," Head Coach Joseph Tibbs said. "With such a young group, this recognition reflects the progress we're making as a program. It's a special moment for our team, but our focus now shifts to Mount Marty and what should be an exciting test on Saturday."

The Warriors now turn their attention to their GPAC home opener, as Waldorf hosts Mount Marty University on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Bolstorff Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
