    Lindsey (Pleuss) Hyman and Stephanie (Hill) Bernal were two of the ten Iowans who served as Olympic Torch Bearers in 2002 as the Olympic Torch Run weaved its way through the various states on its journey to Utah for the 2002 Winter Olympics.

    The Waldorf Men's Wrestling team is set to host the 5th Annual Battle at the Boman with an exciting addition. The Women's Wrestling team will join them in their 1st Inaugural Battle at the Boman. The two teams wrestle against Dakota Wesleyan University on Thursday, Jaunary 29 with a start time of 6:30pm.

  • Conner Aldridge Earns Week 9: GPAC Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week

    Conner Aldridge, a sophomore from Goodyear, AZ, earned the GPAC's Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for Week 9. Aldridge continues to shine on the court, scoring 26 points in Saturday's 83-82 win at Doane and 23 points in last Wednesday's close contest with Hastings. He averages 19.3 points per game and 1.5 steals per game.


  • Cloey Dmytruk Earns Week 8: GPAC Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week

    Cloey Dmytruk, a senior from St. Paul, MN, earned the GPAC's Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for Week 8. Dmytruk scored a career-high of 39 points (earning a school record for points scored per game as a 4-year university) in Saturday's win against College of St. Mary. She also grabbed 10 rebounds and 2 steals.


  • Waldorf University Hires David S. Calloway as Head Football Coach

    Waldorf University is pleased to announce the hiring of David S. Calloway as Head Football Coach. Calloway has more than 25 years of football experience at the collegiate level. He has a proven record of coaching teams to a winning season and recruiting student-athletes who succeed on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. Most recently, Coach Calloway served as associate head coach and defensive coordinator at Missouri Valley College. He led and oversaw all defensive football operations and personnel development and recruited top-tier student athletes across the country.

  • NAIA Announces the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for Fall Sports

    On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, the NAIA announced the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for fall sports. To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended the institution for at least one full year.
