The Waldorf hockey team is sending one of its alumni into the ranks of the professionals.

Waldorf University to host artist reception and talk for area artist Richard Leet on Thursday, Sept. 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Waldorf University Gallery housed in the Campus Center located at 106 S. 6thSt Forest City, Ia. 50436. An artist talk will begin at 7 p.m.

Waldorf University's Bachelor of Arts, Occupational Safety has been reviewed by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and approved as a Graduate Safety Practitioner® (GSP®) Qualifying Academic Program (QAP), providing the program's graduates the option to apply with BCSP for the GSP designation after graduation.

Scheduled to open in October of 2018, the Forest City fine arts center is a state-of-the-art facility being constructed along the city’s entertainment/recreational corridor. Excitement is building as the Fine Arts Center scheduling calendar begins to fill with future events and performances.
