FOREST CITY, Iowa – On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) released the 2026 All-Conference Baseball teams. Jack Kamalski was named to First Team All-Conference. Brandon Berg, Andrew Herrin, Cameren Rindone, and Mason Smith received Honorable Mention recognition.
Kamalski, a junior from Huntington Beach, California, as one of Waldorf's designated hitters, averaged .375 this season with a slugging percentage of .727, leading the team in these two categories, and an on-base percentage of .455. He crossed the plate 16 times, including 7 home runs, and drove in 27 runs. On the mound, he appeared in 12 games, one of which he threw a complete game, for 58.1 innings pitched.
Berg, a junior from Maple Valley, Washington, as one of Waldorf's starting pitchers, appeared in 12 games for a total of 65.2 innings pitched, finished with a record of 3-6, and threw three complete games. He also recorded 8 assists.
Herrin, a junior from San Diego, California, played behind the plate in 43 games and recorded 126 putouts and 8 assists. His batting average was .313 and on base percentage was .473. He had 16 runs, including 3 home runs, and 24 RBIs.
In the outfield, Rindone, a junior from Algona, Iowa, recorded 103 putouts and 3 assists. He averaged .305 with an on-base percentage of .377 and slugging percentage of .578. He drove in 33 runs, homered 9 times, and scored 42 runs, leading the team in these three categories.
Smith, a sophomore from Chariton, Iowa, put out 55 runners and assisted on 86 as an infielder. He finished the season with a batting average of .324 and an on-base percentage of .407. His 41 runs scored earned him second on the team, just behind Rindone's 42. He also recorded 24 RBIs.
