Coach Langrell, Director of Cross Country and Track & Field, is Waldorf University's nominee for NAIA Coach of Character. She goes above and beyond for her athletes and staff and leads with their success in mind. She also teaches the importance of community service, ensuring her team volunteers their time to serve the Waldorf and surrounding communities. Coach Langrell has worked for the department for four years and has served in her current role for three years. Her nomination will be submitted to the GPAC, who will collect nominations from its schools to choose the GPAC nominee for consideration at the NAIA.
Coach Paulsen, Assistant Track & Field Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, received the Students Excelling in Activities & Leadership (S.E.A.L.) Award for Outstanding Group Advisor for his work with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). He has served as the liaison and leader for Waldorf's huddle for two years. With his help, Waldorf has seen its huddle grow in size and faith. He organizes the details of meetings, the communication to students and staff, and the donations of snacks for students to enjoy during huddles.
