All full-time degree-seeking students who do not receive an athletic, Pillars, music, or theatre scholarship will qualify for a merit-based academic scholarship AND a participation award. The following are awarded upon acceptance to Waldorf University and based on the student’s academic performance. These are automatic awards provided to freshman, transfer, and international students.

Scholarship Opportunities

Pillars Scholarship

The Waldorf Pillars program is for new residential students with scholastic aspiration seeking living-and-learning environments outside of the classroom. Recipients receive valuable connections to faculty, internship experience, opportunities for research and/or service projects in one of the following different areas.

Scholarship Day

The Waldorf University Freshman Scholarship Day is an academic event for incoming freshman prospective students who meet eligibility requirements are able to compete for several scholarships including a full-tuition scholarship. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Learning Partner Scholarship

Waldorf University partners with numerous associations, companies and organizations to provide these Learning Partners with a 10% tuition discount to participate in online courses or $15,000 scholarship towards residential course tuition.

Education Partners in Covenant (EPIC) Scholarship

Waldorf University participates in the Educational Partners in Covenant (EPIC) scholarship agreement between ELCA churches and schools. Waldorf University will match the congregations’ EPIC Scholarships, up to $1,000 per student, per year. Students that have home congregations that provide awards should contact their Waldorf Admissions Counselor for details and application process.

Exclusive to recent community college graduates we are pleased to offer a new scholarship at Waldorf University – the Tuition Match Scholarship – created to enable you to complete your baccalaureate degree. 

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Waldorf University provides scholarships to those students who are members in good standing in Phi Theta Kappa and meet the education requirements of the Phi Theta Kappa scholarship. Please visit with our Transfer Coordinator for more information.
