At Waldorf University, we recognize the value of your military service and are committed to helping you translate your military training and experience into academic success. Our comprehensive military transfer credit policy ensures a fair evaluation of your unique skills and knowledge for potential course credit transfer.
We consider all forms of military training, professional certificates, prior institutional credits and experiential learning for potential course transfer equivalency toward your Waldorf degree. Academic Credit for College Equivalent Learning (ACCEL) credits are decided by the program director or, in some cases, an ACCEL committee.
For a personalized assessment of your military transfer credit potential, contact the Warrior Support Center at 877-267-2157, extension #6546, or by email to discuss your military training and prior academic experiences.
Transfer Credit Process
Waldorf maximizes your educational journey by offering a generous transfer credit policy. Up to 75% of undergraduate and 50% of graduate coursework can be applied toward your online degree. Courses must be from accredited institutions with a minimum grade of “C” for undergraduate and “B” for graduate studies.
Associate degrees can fulfill most core curriculum requirements, with some exceptions depending on your major. Additionally, up to 16 vocational-technical credits may transfer, depending on your chosen degree program. It’s important to note that while these transfer credits contribute to your degree, they don’t impact your Waldorf GPA or academic honors.
