Dr. Philip Chrostoski, assistant professor of physics at Waldorf University, was recently invited to serve as a subject matter expert for a global webinar hosted by the American Physical Society in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Science Diplomacy Hub. The webinar series was part of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology and brought together researchers and scholars from around the world.
During the webinar, Dr. Chrostoski shared his expertise on quantum sensing — an emerging field that enhances scientists’ ability to measure chemical reactions, atomic interactions and environmental changes with unprecedented precision. His work in quantum sensing began in graduate school and continued through his postdoctoral research at Sandia National Laboratories.
Dr. Chrostoski recently published new research in the prestigious journal Physical Review and is scheduled to present his findings at one of the world’s largest international physics conferences in mid-March. His participation highlights Waldorf University’s growing presence in advanced scientific research and global academic conversations.
