FOREST CITY, Iowa, Feb. 20, 2025 – Waldorf University will host a Creative Writing Festival for prospective students on Thursday, March 6 at 12:30 p.m. on the Waldorf University campus.  

The winners of Waldorf’s 12^th annual Top of Iowa High School Writing Contest will be announced at the conclusion of the event following a reading from guest writer, Caylin Capra-Thomas.

The event highlights multiple pathways within the writing profession through a screenwriting demonstration with a Waldorf professor as well as publishing insight from Waldorf University’s in-house literary magazine run by students. The day will begin with an admissions presentation and a campus tour.
