Student Portal and Blackboard Outage

All systems have been restored at this time. 4B26 deadlines are extended until Thursday March 19th at midnight CST.

The student portal remains unavailable, but students can access their courses through Blackboard directly by going to online.waldorf.edu.

Issues with our systems persist for all students as well as Waldorf staff. 4B26 will continue to be extended to match the outage. Limited staff will remain online today to respond to voicemails and answer emails, but response times may be delayed.

The system issues are not yet resolved. Campus-based staff are trying to, as safely as possible, return to campus and evaluate the issues in-person, but high winds and closed roads are limiting the ability to do so. We thank you for your patience and will continue to post updates here as we have them.

Unfortunately, due to severe weather and outages throughout the campus area, disruption to the portal and Blackboard persist. Because of this, we are extending the term deadline for 4B26 from Tuesday March 17th at midnight, to Wednesday March 18th at midnight. This is a 24 hour extension of the due date for all assignments/assessments in Term 4B26.

Due to an extreme weather event in Forest City, we are experiencing outages of our student portal as well as Blackboard. We are working on a resolution and will post updates here as we have them.  Thank you for your patience, Warriors!

Credit Card Fee Implementation

We will be implementing a 3% fee on all credit or debit card transactions starting on October 1, 2025.

Waldorf University has been absorbing the cost of these transaction fees, and implementing a method to recoup a portion of this cost has become necessary to ensure general funds are not being used to subsidize convenience for card users.

All credit card charges are subject to this fee, including out-of-pocket tuition payments for upcoming terms, credit card charges for those on payment plans, and on other miscellaneous charges such as additional evaluations. To avoid this fee, you can remit payment via check mailed to our campus in Forest City, IA or pay via ACH.
