The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) is the leading nonprofit membership association representing the interests of the volunteer fire and emergency medical services. The NVFC unites and supports volunteer and combination fire and EMS organizations through education, advocacy, leadership development, and collaboration. Guided by professionalism and innovation, the NVFC provides the tools and resources needed to protect communities, advance responder health and safety, and prepare leaders for the future.

WALDORF UNIVERSITY OFFERINGS TO NVFC MEMBERS

  • Tuition Discounts: NVFC members and their immediate family receive a 20% discount off our published tuition rates for our online certificates, associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees.  Be sure to let your admissions coordinator know about your NVFC membership to ensure the discount is applied!
  • On-Campus Scholarship: NVFC members and their family are eligible for an annual $15,000 scholarship to attend on campus in Forest City, IA, renewable yearly so long as membership and partner status is maintained. Learn more about this opportunity, here.

  • Start Point Program: Flat "all-in" rate of $250 per online Start Point course. The Start Point program offers affordable, online college courses for high school juniors and seniors looking to get a head start on their college journey. With Start Point, high school juniors and seniors take college classes online alongside other Waldorf students before graduating high school.
