Tuition Discount & Scholarships

Waldorf has one of the most affordable tuition rates in the nation, and FDNY employees can save even more - because of our partnership, you get 20% off our published tuition rates, PLUS access to the following scholarships:

  • FDNY Undergraduate Scholarship 
    • Applications are open from April 15 through May 31, annually.
    • Applicants must be an employee of FDNY, have an active Waldorf University application on file (or be a current student), and meet our admissions requirements. 
  • FDNY Graduate Level Scholarship
    • Applications are open from October 1 through November 30, annually.
    • Applicants must be an employee of FDNY, have an active Waldorf University application on file (or be a current student), and meet our admissions requirements. 
  • Learning Partner Scholarship - open to all Waldorf University learning partners and awarded six times per year.

Flexible, Fully Online Education

You've got a job to do, and our online courses are structured so you can achieve both your professional and academic goals. Waldorf classes are eight-weeks long and there are no set class times, so you can do your coursework on your own schedule.

Our Fire Programs

Waldorf University offers over 120 fully online programs, including certificates, associate degree, bachelor's degrees, and master's degrees. Here are some of the programs we think you'll like: 

  • AA in Fire Science
  • BS or BAS in Fire Science Administration (Public Relations concentration available)
  • BA or BAS in Emergency Management (Fire Science and Homeland Security concentrations available)
  • BS or BAS in Organizational Leadership (5 available concentrations)
  • BS or BAS in Psychology (includes a Fire Science concentration option)
  • MBA (11 available concentrations, including Fire/Rescue Executive Leadership, Emergency Management Leadership, and Public Administration)
  • MA in Organizational Leadership (8 available concentrations, including Fire/Rescue Executive Leadership, Emergency Management Leadership, and Public Administration Leadership)

Note: At the undergraduate level, BAS programs may offer those with more completed postsecondary coursework more options for transfer credit.
