Let's give a big Waldorf welcome to our new Creative Writing professor, Dr. Hayli Cox!
Hayli May Cox holds a Ph.D. in Creative Writing with a graduate minor in Women's and Gender Studies from The University of Missouri. She serves as a Nonfiction Editor at Doubleback Review and Editorial and Publicity Assistant at Persea Books. As of Fall 2024, Hayli is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Waldorf University in Iowa.
Her writing and art have been widely published online and in print and have won or been nominated for numerous awards. She is currently working on a story collection and two book projects. A Michigander by birth, in her free time, Hayli paints, builds with Lego, critters watches and hikes around with a backpack full of field guides.
