At Waldorf University, students take center stage. With a 96 percent placement rate into careers or graduate school, our theatre program prepares students to be their best self behind the scenes and in the limelight. As both an academic and production program, Waldorf theatre strives to create an environment that challenges students in an atmosphere of creativity, respect and camaraderie.
The Waldorf University Theatre Department is a open to all students at any grade level, so students will get the chance to get on stage and get involved even as freshman. Not interested in a major or a minor? No problem. The Waldorf Theatre Department is an open department so even those focused on other academic fields can audition and perform in the Waldorf theatre productions.
The Theatre Department prepares four mainstage shows a year, plus other side productions, that offer a range of theatrical opportunities. Productions include:

Waldorf Theatre Shops
If you don’t take center stage, you can still be involved with Waldorf theatre through the Waldorf Theatre Shops. By being involved in a shop, you will have the opportunity to manage or design a production. The Waldorf Theatre Shops include:

- Props
- Box Office/PR
