Ride Request

An online ride request form must be completed for air or bus travel to and from campus 72 hours before the student needs transportation services. After submitting a ride request form, a confirmation email will be sent to the student. The transportation coordinator will follow up with the ride itinerary via email. Students should plan for possible wait times due to weather, traffic or flight delays. 

Flights from MSP Airport in Minneapolis, Minn. to the Mason City Municipal Airport in Mason City, Iowa, will be through Air Choice One. Students are responsible for booking the commuter flight to and from the Mason City Municipal Airport. The ride fee to campus is $20 and will be applied to the student's account.

August/Fall 2021 Arrival & Departure Dates

All students will be picked up and dropped off at the airport or bus station. Please refer to the ride request form to make a reservation 72 hours in advance. Student Life does not support leaving campus early and missing classes before the semester is over or before a break.

Medical Transportation

Waldorf provides rides for students to area medical facilities. There is no cost for medical rides within Forest City. Rides to area clinics and hospitals will cost $30 round trip. Any medical rides over 100 miles round trip will be $100. All medical ride fees will be applied to the student's account. We will try to accommodate special circumstances. Please provide notice and information as soon as possible.

Transportation to medical appointments may be coordinated through Student Health Services, Mary Mathiasen, at 641-585-8157, 641-590-0619 or by emailing Mary Mathiasen. If no answer, call 641-585-8500. Medical rides are limited during university break times, as offices are closed and drivers are less available.
